1. Legal basis and purpose of processing personal data

Information and facility management Legitimate interest Administration of SSAB’s information resources and physical facilities in order to avoid injuries, prevent property damage and criminal activities, and to ensure the availability of its websites and services.

This processing of visitor information is to enable external visits to its facilities and business premises.
Guest network Legitimate interest SSAB provides visitors and guests a network connection to log onto.
Event management Legitimate interest SSAB may organise or host events at SSAB premises or other venues. Event management may include information related to catering, feedback, post-event activities.

Events held at production sites may require more detailed information about the visitor.
